Our Board Chair

Richard Holloway is a student-centered university educator with over 13 years of experience in the classroom and as a post-secondary education administrator, and ten years as an attorney. Born in Chicago and raised primarily in Maywood, Illinois, Richard is a product of public school education at every level, starting out in the Chicago Public Schools, and graduating from Roosevelt Elementary and Proviso East HS in Maywood.  He earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.

Richard has lived in neighborhoods on the Westside, the Southside, and the Northside of Chicago. In his private time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Regina, cooking, reading, writing, listening to music, watching professional  basketball, and playing basketball.
