The program offers tutorial sessions for students. The tutorial sessions will be available as needed per student with 60 minute sessions for students in grades 4 and 5; and 90 minute sessions available for students in grades 6 through 12. Project Higher Ed plans to work with a reputable tutoring service; a company that will provide one-on-one sessions with students utilizing their network of tutors.
Test prep & Coaching
College Entry Test Prep classes are mandatory for students in grades 8 and higher; PSAT, SAT and ACT. Project Higher Ed also provides coaching and test prep for the students that may be interested in pursuing private, independent schools and/or boarding schools as a possible option.
College Tours & Campus Visits
Mandatory college tours will be held regularly as a vital component of the program for students and parents. Project Higher Ed will also assist students with enrolling in enrichment activities and summer programs on college campuses; for example STEM and STEAM Programs, Institute on Reading Development, Writing Workshops, Photography Camp, and Journalism Camp for Teens.
Cultural Field Trips
Visits to museums, historical sites, conservatories, theatres, planetariums, zoos, professional sports events and botanical gardens are among some of the cultural field trips in which our Project Higher Ed families will participate. Field trips will vary in size and participation from grade specific outings to whole group visits. These trips will consist of local, regional and national cultural sites.
